As a restaurant using the foodHost platform, it's important to manage your menu effectively to ensure customer satisfaction. This guide walks you through the process of marking items as out of stock on the Flow app, ensuring your menu always reflects current availability.
Steps:
Access Your Flow Account
Ensure you're logged into the Flow app using your employee credentials, which you should have received from your business owner or manager.
Open the Menu
Tap the hamburger menu icon to expand the sidebar menu, then select 'Menu' to view your current item listings.
Navigate to the Item
Choose the category containing the item you need to update, then find the specific item within the list.
Edit Item Availability
Tap the 'Edit' button next to the item, then toggle the 'Out of Stock' switch to the desired position (on for out of stock).
Save Changes
Click off the pop-up to close the editing window, then press the blue 'Confirm' button at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
Review Updates
Review your menu to ensure the item now shows as out of stock, and make further adjustments as necessary.
